How can people be so cruel?

I got back from visiting my extended family outside of London yesterday and am sorry I went. Everytime I go up there I come home feeling angry and disgusted.

My two cousins are living with my aunt and uncle's family, because a year ago their mother died of cancer and their father abandoned them and left to chase the sunshine. They have been in the care of my aunt and uncle ever since then. However, the way they are treated disgusts me, they are treated like second class citezins and are constantly told they are not wanted and that 'life was great before THEY came to live with them'. How can you say that to two children who mother died tragically of cancer not so long ago and who have no one else to turn to? Do they have no compassion? After everything those two have been through, they are now suffering at the hands of my aunt and uncle and their envious children.

I hate humans. I have no faith in human nature any more. Like the way you see these starving kids on tv in Ethiopia, with not enough money to buy water...then you switch channels and see these celebrities bragging about how they paid $2000 for a glass of wine, etc. It makes me sick.

Easter holidays have started at last, but no fun for little old me, I have a stack of coursework to do. Ther year has gone so quickly, it seems like only yesterday I had started sixth form and was burying my aunt. Time flies. At least we're getting a puppy tomorrow, that should take my mind off all the work that needs doing. It's 7 weeks old, and it's tiny. Ahhh, we're calling it Josh I think, or maybe Zak. Can't wait for him to arrive.

Anyhow, how is everyone? Are you having a nice Easter? I got four eggs already, gonna be putting on a few pounds thats for sure.
